A new family favorite from Frugal Families.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup lentils
2 cups water
2 T honey
2 T soy sauce or tamari
2 T olive oil
1 inch fresh ginger - peeled and minced
1 clove garlic - minced
1 small onion - diced (I used 1/4 cup dried onion)
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Mix all ingredients in an oven proof dish. Cover with lid or foil.
Bake at 350F until tender - about 90 minutes.

ReplyDeleteI just realized I left out the sesame oil or olive oil.
ReplyDeleteIf you care to, you can add 1 T sesame oil or olive oil. It's delicious with or without.
