Works For Me Wednesday - Frugal Fast Face Washing

A couple of weeks ago I posted about Fast Face Washing. It wasn't an world changing idea. But it has kept me me on task to cross another item off my list of 101 Things to Do.

Tonight will be my 25th day in a row of washing my face. I am blemish free!

The wipes however bother my frugal nature. I don't like the disposable nature of the product either but I'll have to work on that.

Here's my tip for the week... Cut them in half. Half a wipe cleans my face just as well. I cut the wipe in half - stuff half back in the package and use the other half.

Frugally works for me!

  1. We're going to Costco tomorrow, think I'll put these on the list.

  2. Ooo! I have these and I always use them when I'm away from home. I'll try cutting them in half, thanks.

  3. I totally understand - I'm like you, night owl, etc. And lazy to wash my face, esp now that it's winter here. But I've also been trying because my skin really does look better when I take care of it.

  4. I do that! I don't know why wipes have to be so big, anyway. In fact, if I just need to remove a little smudged mascara, I'll just cut off a small piece. Nothing like making something last twice as long, huh?

  5. I use Ponds as well, but I use the old fashioned jar and wash cloth method. I agree, Ponds does work well...I haven't had any problems with just washing with the cold cream.

  6. This is a great WFMW tip! I've recently started cutting wipes in half as well. :)

  7. Alright, don't think I am crazy, but I have washed mine out (once I have cut them) and let them dry and use them with some dove face wash squirted on them.
