I found out about S.M.A.R.T. Habits Saturday through Organizing Junkie's Challenge. The Lady Organizer was one of the judges of the challenge. She started Smart Habits Saturday at the beginning of the year to help tame those allusive New Year's Resolutions.
The idea is that it takes 21 days to form a new habit. Choose one thing a week and work on making it part of your life. Next week add another habit.
I figure participating could help me knock out some of my 1o1 Things to Do.
I'm going to start with one of those...
Habit 1: Wash my face every night.
This is a great one. It's easy to say, I'm too tired and hit the hay instead.
ReplyDeleteI like your idea for 101 things to do in 1001 days. I may have to steal/borrow it.
Why is it that some of the easiest things to do ....are also the hardest?
ReplyDeleteGreat one to start with!
ReplyDeleteThis is one that comes and goes for me. When I remember to do it consistently my face stays clear of blemishes. Umm. . . I think I'd better start washing again, my face doesn't look to good right now. Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us! This is one thing I always forget to do. I usually work out and shower at night but when I don't then my face doesn't get washed!
ReplyDeleteI love your orangeness!
Good luck this week on your habits (and you list)
ReplyDeleteGreat blog. Doing anything productive after 9:00pm is a challenge for me. But since I started SHS brushing my teeth each night has become a habit and facewashing started after that. I'm sure you'll do great. It seems like a bother at night but in the morning you'll feel the difference, I know I do. Good luck this week!
