News and Prayer Request

Hello Friends and Family,

We have news. Today Surferman was laid off from his job. It's a result of the recent credit issues our country is facing - not anything to do with Surferman's ability to do his job. The house cards built upon expensive camper vans seems to be crashing down.

We are not worried. We are not afraid.

We would appreciate your prayers.

We know God is in control and has a wonderful plan for Surferman's employment and our family.
We just don't know what that is right now.

At the same time, our house that we rent out, is empty. We've been renovating it ($$$) and would appreciate prayers for stable long term, rent paying tenants. Grom would ask you to also pray that they have a small child. :-)

Here's a verse we came across at our Small Group Bible Study tonight.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
