The best birthday gift ever

I thought I really wanted an iPhone.

But today Grom gave me the best birthday present ever... unlimited hugs and kisses.

When he first saw me this morning, he gave me the biggest head popping off squeeze that I've had in a long time. He followed it with a sloppy kiss. And then told me that I could have birthday hugs and kisses all day long. From a boy that routinely "runs out" of hugs long before his mommy is done being hugged, it was a great gift.

All I had to do was call his name and he'd come running to give me another tight squeeze.

And they were transferable. His grandpa and grandma and Daddy were all able to share in my birthday gift.

It was better than cake.
